Weather Fortune provides a free global weather forecast — current conditions, hourly and 16-day outlooks, live weather radar, air quality, audio broadcast andweather news. No account is required. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
2. Acceptable use
- Use the site for lawful, personal, and reasonable purposes only.
- Do not abuse, scrape aggressively, bypass rate limits, or attempt to disrupt the service or its edge API.
- Do not misrepresent the service or use it to spread false weather/emergency claims.
- Automated access is permitted only at a reasonable rate with the
WeatherFortuneuser-agent; heavy scraping may be blocked.
3. Forecast accuracy & safety disclaimer
Forecasts, radar imagery, alerts, AQI, and UV values are informational estimates from third-party models (see §6) and may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate.Always follow official guidance from your national weather service and emergency authorities for safety decisions — storms, floods, heat, lightning, and air-quality events. Weather Fortune is not a substitute for emergency warnings.
4. Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains local storage, push subscriptions, and data providers. By using the site you consent to the practices described there.
5. Intellectual property
The Weather Fortune name, logo, design, text, and code are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable law. You may share links and quote brief excerpts with attribution, but you may not copy, redistribute, or rebrand substantial parts of the site or pass them off as your own without permission.
6. Third-party data & attribution
- Forecast/geocoding/air-quality data: Open-Meteo, licensed CC-BY 4.0 — attribution shown in the footer.
- Radar tiles/frame: RainViewer. News headlines link to their original publishers.
- We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, or accuracy.
7. No warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, or non-infringement. Uptime, caching, and alert delivery (including push notifications) are not guaranteed.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weather Fortune and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including decisions made based on forecasts — arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves; the “Last updated” date will reflect revisions. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, please stop using the site.
